Entrepreneur 3D-printed Google Glass and shared the design

No need to worry about that you don’t have US$1,500 to be a Google Glass early adopter. Someone in China has 3D-printed out his own Google glass and share the design for free.

Sunny Gao, an entrepreneur showed off a replica of the highly-awaited Google Glass during the Global Hackathon on Saturday in Shanghai.

A Chinese site said this 3D-printed Google Glass is also functional. It runs Android 4.0.4, and has 16GB of storage and a 5-megapixel camera that is able to take photos and record 720p videos. Same as Google Glass, this 3D printed specs supports WiFi and Bluetooth connection. – Sounds fantastic, well, just kidding ;-) It is not functional.

But if you have a 3D printer nearby, you can download here its design, a Google Glass.skp file that Gao shared with the public for free. The webpage is in Chinese, but try to find an icon like this
